Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of BlueTurtleLive during the Founding Cellar. We've kept them short and readable.
1. Agreement
By using BlueTurtleLive or joining the Founding Cellar, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're accepting on behalf of a store, you confirm you're authorized to do so.
2. The Founding Cellar (beta)
BlueTurtleLive is in active development. The Founding Cellar is an early-access program: features may change, be added, or be removed, and the service is provided on an as-available basis while we build it alongside our first stores.
3. Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and let us know of any unauthorized use. You're responsible for activity under your account.
4. Your data and POS connection
You authorize BlueTurtleLive to connect to your POS through a read-only integration and to process your store data as described in the Privacy Policy. You keep ownership of your data; we don't claim it.
5. Acceptable use
- Use BlueTurtleLive only for your own store's lawful operations.
- Don't resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.
6. Recommendations are decision support
BlueTurtleLive's forecasts, alerts, and reorder recommendations are here to inform your judgment — not replace it. Buying, pricing, and inventory decisions remain yours, and you're responsible for them.
7. Availability
Because this is a beta, we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and may change or pause features. We'll aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
8. Pricing
We're finalizing pricing with our first stores. Founding Cellar members get direct input into it and founding-store terms honored at launch. We will not charge you without clear notice first.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, BlueTurtleLive is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost sales, arising from your use of the service.
10. Ending your participation
You or BlueTurtleLive may end your participation at any time. On termination, we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
