Do I need to replace my POS?

No. BlueTurtleLive connects to whatever POS you already use (Square, Shopify, Lightspeed, Clover, Santé and more) through a read-only integration. Nothing changes on your counter.

How long does setup take?

We connect your POS and get your product and inventory data mapped for you. No IT project, no consultants on your side. Once it's linked it stays current on its own, and your first Daily Priorities arrive the next morning.

Will this place orders without my permission?

No. BlueTurtleLive suggests; you decide. Nothing goes to a distributor, a customer or your POS until you approve it.

My catalog is a mess. Will this work?

Yes, and that's normal. Most POS systems hand back free-text product fields rather than clean data. BlueTurtleLive maps producer, region, type and vintage before anything reaches your dashboard, and anything it is unsure of is flagged for review instead of being guessed at.

New York publishes these prices. Why do I need you?

The state runs a lookup: one product at a time, and you have to know what to ask for. BlueTurtleLive reads the whole monthly posting from 500+ distributors and matches it to the wines on your shelf. That matching is the hard part, because fewer than 1 in 100 lines on the state's price list carries a barcode, so the rest is matched on name, producer, size and vintage. What comes back is this week's order with the better-priced line already in it, not a search box.

What happens to my store's data?

Your data stays yours. BlueTurtleLive connects read-only: we pull sales, inventory and transactions, and can never change anything inside your POS. Every store has its own dedicated database, and everything is encrypted in transit and at rest. We may publish market trends by district or region, combined across many stores so that no individual store's numbers can be identified, and you can opt out at any time. If you leave, your data is deleted on request.
